Anthology Studios LLC (“Anthology”, “we”, “us”) makes software for weddings and private events. This policy describes what we collect, how we use it, what we deliberately do not do, and the rights you have over your information.

What we collect

When you visit this website, we collect only what is needed to serve you the page: your browser type, your approximate region, and the pages you request. We do not run third-party analytics, advertising, or behavioural tracking on this site at this time.

If you correspond with us by email, we retain that correspondence and your contact details for as long as we have an ongoing business relationship and for a reasonable period after.

When you use the Anthology iOS application (when launched), we will collect the information needed to operate the product: account details, the photographs you choose to contribute, technical metadata associated with those photographs, and product-usage signals. The application's own privacy disclosure will describe those collections specifically and precisely, and you will see Apple's privacy nutrition label before installing.

What we do not do

These are commitments. Anthology Studios:

  • does not sell your personal information,
  • does not sell, license, or rent guest photographs,
  • does not train artificial-intelligence models on guest photographs entrusted to us,
  • does not display advertising on this site or inside the application,
  • does not share your photographs with parties outside the event you contributed them to, except where strictly necessary to provide the service (for example, storage and processing infrastructure operating under our instructions),
  • does not run behavioural advertising trackers, fingerprinters, or session replay on this site.

How we process information

Where technically feasible, photograph analysis happens on your device, not on our servers. Where server-side processing is needed (for example, to deliver a curated album to an event host), it is performed under our instructions by a small set of operating processors — infrastructure providers — bound by contract not to use that data for their own purposes.

Retention

We retain personal information only for as long as needed to provide the service to you, to comply with legal obligations, to resolve disputes, and to enforce our agreements. Photographs contributed to a specific event are retained according to the tier the event purchased; see the in-application disclosure for specifics once the product is live.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you have rights to access, correct, port, restrict, and delete information we hold about you, and to object to certain uses. To exercise any of these rights, write to hello@anthologystudios.co from the address associated with your account. We will acknowledge within seven days and respond within thirty.

If you are in the European Union, the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

If you are a California resident, you have the rights set out in the California Consumer Privacy Act. We do not sell personal information.

International transfers

Anthology Studios is based in Austin, Texas, United States. If you are outside the United States, information about you will be transferred to and processed in the United States, where data-protection laws may differ from those of your country. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards including Standard Contractual Clauses.

Changes to this policy

We will update this policy as the product evolves and as counsel review concludes. Material changes will be communicated by updating the date at the top of this page and, where you have an account, by direct notice.
